This ICT module has reached its end, but it should not be the end of
my learning process in ICT.
Here you have the summary of this post; I am going to talk about:
-
Three things that I have loved
about this ICT module.
-
One thing that should be
improved about this ICT module.
-
Three things that I have loved
about this Bilingual Master.
-
One thing that should be
improved about this Master.
I should just talk about: Three things that
I have loved about this ICT module and one thing that should be improved, but I
want to go further and I am going to talk also about: Three things that I have
loved about this Bilingual Master and one thing that should be improved.
- Three things that I have loved about this ICT module:
1.
I have learnt several things
about ICT. I did not know most of the resources and online tools that you can
use in your classroom as a teacher and also in your daily life.
2.
I was not taking advantages of
the ICT in my learning process. I did not realized how important were the ICT
for children. Now I know that we have to adapt our lessons to the students
needs and to the changes of our society, integrating the ICT in our teaching
methodology.
3.
According to the challenges, I
love the way that the professor has structured the module (in challenges)
because you change your mind when you see challenges instead of homework, you
want to go through and solve them. In general the organization of the platform
of the module is quite good, it is different than the other subjects of the
Master. When you open the ICT module in the online platform, you notice quickly
that you are in the ICT module. The rubrics are perfectly defined and you can
see some windows in both sides of the platform, where you can check the blogs
and tweets of your classmates, your challenges, etc.
- One thing that should be improved in this ICT module:
In my humble opinion, the ICT module should be swapped with other
subject from the first term, because we would have more time to complete all
the challenges, therefore, our academic performance would be improved.
- Three things that I have loved about this Bilingual Master:
1. I have learnt several things
about bilingualism in bilingual schools. I did not know anything about
bilingualism before I started this Master, but now, I considered bilingualism a
good way to develop most of the potential of our students, creating more
open-minded children. These pupils are also capable to use two different
languages, acquiring contents and using two languages in the same context.
2. The professors from the Master
are patients with you and they try to solve all your doubts and concerns. They
are qualified to teach the contents that the master requires.
3. The subjects are better than I
was expecting, I consider all of them essential for our training as a bilingual
teachers.
- One thing that should be changed about this Bilingual Master.
The organization of the Master, as I said before, it would be nice
to have the ICT module in the first term instead of the second. In relation to
the timing, we have a short time for the internship period, it is the same with
the exams and the classes, we have them at the same time, plus projects.
According to the TFM, we do not have the opportunity to present it in July or
September, it would be also nice to have these chances, because in May we have
final exams, final projects, etc.
In conclusion, I have to say that although it has been a hard year, I am happy with the Master and the ICT module. I will keep learning and
posting in my blog. I hope you have enjoyed all my “journey” through these
challenges.
As I do not like goodbyes, I will add a meme here
bellow. I have created the meme through “meme generator”, an easy way to create
memes. I hope you like it, if you have not seen this comedy TV program “La Hora
de José Mota” (Jose Mota’s Time), I provide you with the YouTube link to make you understand the meme. The video is half
English, half Spanish, (always fostering bilingualism!) I hope it make you laugh.
